Working with Shadow is a two-part experiential workshop to help you develop a personal shadow practice.
Every day life brings many emotional triggers and upsets. These reactions are mysterious; we don’t understand their origin or how to work with them.
The term "shadow" was coined by Carl Jung. It refers to the unconscious aspects of the personality, which the ego rejects as “Not me”. This revealing, energizing personal practice discloses what we keep hidden in the psyche and frees us to fully express who we are.
What is Shadow?
How do you know Shadow is present?
How do you work with Shadow?
The 3-2-1 of Shadow
The online workshop is facilitated by Diane Musho Hamilton, who helped to develop the Shadow work modules at Integral Institute. The 3-2-1 is an Integral Institute innovation that she will share. She will also explore other individual shadow practice techniques, allowing you to shine a light on parts of yourself you would rather not see.
In this course, you will have an opportunity to:
- Learn more about what shadow is and how to become more aware of it
- Engage in experiential processes to liberate the shadow
- Clear blocks to greater freedom, loving, and joy
- Experience more significant levels of compassion and acceptance of what you see and criticize in others.
YOU WILL RECEIVE
- 6 hours of live instruction with Q&A
- Complete workshop recordings
- Supplemental practice materials and resources

Diane Musho Hamilton

I am a meditator and a meditator. Meditation deepens our relationship to oneness; mediation puts it into action. I was the Director of Dispute Resolution for the Judiciary in Utah, mediating a wide range of matters, but was particularly recognized for my skills in facilitating difficult conversations. I enjoy the intimacy of conflict and its creative potential. I began working with Ken Wilber in 2004 and, for fifteen years, held transformative containers for many people interested in their own development. I teach meditation in the Soto lineage of Zen. I've written four books, most recently, Waking Up and Growing Up: Spiritual Cross-Training for an Evolving World, co-authored with Gabriel Wilson.
