DEALING WITH DIFFERENCE
With Diane Musho Hamilton, Lisa Gibson, and Jennifer Berman
Friday, March 8, 2024 Via Zoom
9:00 am - 4:00 pm MST
Join Diane Musho Hamilton, Jennifer Berman, and Lisa Gibson for a deep dive into facilitating complexity. In these fragmented and uncertain times, one of our most valuable assets is our capacity to relate to one another. We must continuously uplevel our ability to create generative spaces where meaningful collaboration and contact can occur by engaging our whole selves and learning how to work with group energetics in new and different ways for transformation.
This one-day workshop is designed for leaders and facilitators guiding systemic change in various settings — in multi-stakeholder initiatives, government, philanthropy, the nonprofit sector, or corporate environments.
Through this workshop, you will hone your capacity to facilitate with greater awareness, compassion, and clarity. You will practice sensing and using your instincts, intelligence, and intuition, responding to what is needed.
With a supportive group of other systems leaders, you will develop tangible skills to communicate across differences, navigate conflict, and engage in courageous conversations – to catalyze change in people and systems stuck in old patterns and practices.
THIS WORKSHOP IS COMPLETELY DEVOTED TO WORKING WITH DIFFERENCES. WE WILL EXPLORE:
- How our physiology is impacted by differences in groups.
- How to self-regulate, and how to support groups in shared self-regulation.
- How to value differences while supporting their expression.
- How to sustain and explore differences in order to bring more awareness and perspectives to light.
- How to work with polarities and be amazed when they flip.
- How to use conflict to bring more energy and creativity to group work.
YOU WILL RECEIVE
- 6 hours of live online instruction, practice, and Q&A with a highly experienced team
- A Resource Folder with supplemental materials
- Access to Zoom video and mp3 audio files of all teaching sessions
THIS WORKSHOP WILL BENEFIT ANYONE IN THE ROLE OF LEADER, FACILITATOR, COACH, CONSULTANT, OR CHANGE AGENT
